Good. Good, thank you. So um, Monday, October 3, we actually launched the new and improved neon one Academy. And I am bringing you aboard to talk just a little bit about what the new new neon one Academy has the enhancements that have been made and some of the new updates and features that of course, will provide me on one users with a better learning experience. So would you mind sharing a little bit about just your background? In instructional designer talking to us a little bit about what instructional design is?

Sure, yeah. So thanks so much for the opportunity to be able to talk about this, it's super exciting. To watch something come into fruition like this is just great. So my background is I come from I have an educational background. So I have just a huge passion for learning. And I have that love of learning in me, which helped me to kind of lean towards this instructional design. So I have a master's in curriculum design and instruction. And really, that has created a passion for me to create spaces for individuals and organizations to have that same passion that I have that love for learning. So that's really what instructional design is about. We create learning spaces for individuals, organizations, and things like that. I be working with Indiana one, I've had the opportunity to work with Dr. Toni Josato, who has really been the leader in helping this academy become this beautiful landing page the way that it is now. So I'm excited to show some of those features to you guys.

Yeah, no, that's fantastic. And I love the the usage or the talking point of like creating individual individualized like learning spaces and learning experiences. So just a little bit about current neon one users who are familiar with the old neon one Academy. To my understanding, they can expect to find a very similar curriculum that may be similar to perhaps like previous online courses, however, can you tell me about some of the significant enhancements that have been made?

Sure, absolutely. So the the space itself is different. So I will go into that the content within the courses are going to be very similar because the as the product I mean, the as the products evolve we'll evolve them to match our products. But any of the content that was there previously will be in our new academy. However, we have some we've done a facelift. And we've also just kind of created spaces for individuals to learn in the way that they feel they learned the best in. So really looking at those learning styles. So I do want to share my screen so I can show you how easy we've made it to navigate to the academy. Now, previously, I know that we needed to go to one the Support Center to gain access to the academy and we also needed a separate login. So what's nice about the academy now is the login that you use for the neon product will be your login for the Academy. Can you see my screen? Yeah, I sure can. Okay, wonderful. So this is a new feature this help icon up here it is with neon CRM right now, the other products have not put this in yet, but they are coming. So the way that you'll navigate to the academy is by clicking this help icon. And there is a neon one Academy link right there. So that will take you to our new beautiful space here. So this is the main page of our neon Academy. As you can see, it looks a lot different. For those of you that I've seen the Academy from before. We have organized the content by the persona, and also by the product. So you'll see here you can access the CRM courses, the neon fundraising courses, and so on. I will take you into neon CRM so that you can see what the courses look like. For new users, you will want to navigate to the neon CRM orientation courses because these are direct pathways for you to follow to get started with an imple implementation specialist. So these are important for you to start with. For users that are familiar that don't need those those orientation courses, you can navigate right to the cour- the main courses page, and this will be on in each of the products. There'll be a main courses section. And here are these are our full courses that we have currently for neon CRM. You can search by the toolbar here or by topic by learning level and use case. And if you go into any of these, I'll go into a the system's communications, you can see that we have a bunch of different lessons in here. And then we have about the course. What I really love that's a new feature about our neon Academy, like I said, is the different learning styles that we're trying to incorporate. So just like a standard Academy, we will have videos for watching to learn about how to accomplish the task. So this is just a video to learn how to, for example, create system, email and letter settings. With that we have a PDF version that is available for download. So it's the same content that was within the video that that is accessible. The new part is these really awesome simulation and real time application pieces. So we have something called a practice it, which is a an application. It's a simulation. So part of what we wanted to do is create a place to practice. So that's what this is, it's just going to practice, whatever the skill is that you want to work on. And then we also have these creatives here, which are step by step directions, and then the real time application portion of it as well. So this is just what a course looks like, if someone does not want to take a course. And they'd rather just take apart these little pieces and

use those to navigate and figure out how to accomplish tasks, you would go to the quick references. And all of those, watch it, create it read it and practices will all be available here. So if I just want to watch videos about all the topics, I can use the filter system, to pull up all of the videos that we have available. If you just want to practice in the simulation, you can just go through all the practices, or you can practice all of the communication courses. So these are available, they you don't need to register for these, you do need to be logged in. But they're great tools for learning something really quickly. And being able to move on with the process.

Yeah, no, this is fantastic. And I also think I mean, it really appeals to every type of learner, right, especially also the the experience level for someone who's onboarding to one of our new products. Because I can see this would how this could be very useful also for even training for new staff members that may be, you know, managing the communications portion. So learning, hey, I'm a visual learner. So maybe I'm going to watch a video tutorial. But then I can accompany that by perhaps even printing out a PDF if I'm a little bit more tactile and want to take notes. And then yes, let me go in and actually practice it in real time. So can you just expand a little bit more of on really kind of the benefits of the product simulation and the real time application because I think that's one of the the biggest kind of enhancements that I think will be highly useful for a lot of our clients.

Absolutely. And that was actually feedback that we received about the old Academy, we did take a survey with our current clients and asked to what kind of features they were looking for, or what what didn't work in our last Academy. And one piece was that people want to be able to practice in a safe space, right? So you don't want to make changes to your and that's I mean, I understand that feeling of just wanting to be able to practice first. So that it really the inspiration really came from our clients and the feedback that we received. So I can take you into a practice it just so you can kind of see what that looks like. Because it really provides our clients the opportunity to see, you know, what they're going to be what those steps are going to look like without the risk of

you know, changing something they don't want to change. Absolutely.

So let me go into here for you. So this will take us actually step by step through the process. So it'll want want us to go to click the icon, the settings icon global settings. For users, this is pretty familiar process.

But it is very, I mean, what I love about it is it is very step by step. So it's like hey, let me literally practice exactly what I'm going to be doing. This is almost like a mirror image of of this person's neon CRM system for example.

Exactly and that's really what we want it to do we want it to, to make it look familiar. Help us to see, you know, this is exactly what you're gonna see on the next screen, because we're really taking you step by step through each of these processes. And this one, for example, is showing you how to add tokens, which is something that, you know, is used in other spaces as well. So really, it's it's taking you through a variety of processes here. So, but again, this is our safe space. So I'll navigate to the create it so I can show you the difference here. So this is not making any permanent changes, if we go to a create it, that will, will make changes to your instance. So I will follow these steps. And so instead of it being a model that I'm following, and clicking practicing the pathway, I'm actually going into this iframe here is my own system. So I'm going to open CRM go into my organization, and then I'm going to follow these steps just like they're stated here. So I want to go to the Settings icon and select Global Settings. was one,

Absolutely. And the feedback we've received so far is, you know, our users are able to really get through more than they expected. They could, right, beforehand. There. We've had clients that have said, Oh, well, I already finished importing, because I just follow the steps in the academy. So it's been really cool to see how you know, this has really enabled our users to be more self sufficient, you don't need to rely on us necessarily, because we have all the tools available here.

Yeah, and I just like, way back when when I worked in fundraising and worked in a similar database, it's like, I feel like this new kind of real time application enhancement that that you and Toni have built out in the Neon One Academy also provides a place where I mean, people can feel confident as users like building confidence and navigating the system using this system. It's just I think it's great for just even stepping stones for initially getting the system set up and then continued learning down the line as well.

Absolutely, absolutely. Yes. I am going to, I just want to show how we get through this next step here. I'm just showing how I'm following each of these steps. And I can just do an example. And it'll take you through each of this of the process that we just done to practice it. So this is this is the the creative section here. So I did want to also point out that these are optional within our courses. So you don't have to do the practice and the create it. It's an optional feature, you'll still have completed the course even if you chose you know, to skip the practice it or skip the create it, we really want you to use the tools that are helpful for you, and then leave the rest but we want it to have options. So you'll see here like for these these ones that have the dotted circle, as opposed to a solid circle, the dotted circles are the optional pieces. Oh, great. Okay.

Yeah, no, and I think that's fantastic. Because I've you know, self guided kind of learning and in coursework is I mean, it's, it's very, we see it a lot and various different types of technologies that we use. And I love the idea that you don't have to complete every single thing to move on to the next it is exactly like this has been designed in a way that is speaking to each type of learner and every type of learner is different. So thank you again for just kind of walking our users through the new neon when Academy, I guess to reflect some of the great enhancements that we have made have been adding additional coursework and curriculum keeping the guides and kind of PDF documentation as well as the video walkthrough tutorials but we've added in big enhancements like the simulations the create it in the real time application
