Beyond the Application: Strategies for Building Long-Term Relationships with Funders

This session aims to equip nonprofits with the knowledge and skills needed to build strong and lasting partnerships with funders. Join us as Sheleia Phillips, MPH, CHES, explores the steps involved in developing a successful grant application, as well as the strategies that can be used to maintain a positive and productive relationship with funders beyond the application process.

Attendees of this workshop will learn about the importance of cultivating relationships with funders and how to effectively communicate with them to ensure they remain invested in your organization’s mission. We will discuss tips for creating a strong proposal language, including how to tailor your message through a community-centric, asset-based lens.
