Friends of the Texas Historical Commission

The Friends of the Texas Historical Commission knew it needed a more reliable stream of recurring revenue. Development Manager Lorelei Gonzalez led the charge, launching a new sustaining donor campaign in Neon CRM. Since going live, the program has increased its number of sustaining donors by more than 300%—empowering them to grow their impact with long-term financial stability.

In 2025, you took huge steps to grow your impact. By grounding your fundraising in personal connections, you proved that fundraisers can use technology strategically to accelerate growth.

When IPH rebranded its Key Club monthly giving program, they paired the new name with powerful automation that boosted their monthly supporters by over 400%. They used Neon CRM workflows to build an automated donor journey that now strategically engages first-time donors within their critical first 45 days and proactively mitigates payment failures, resulting in predictable revenue.

The W Connection stabilized its finances and deepened community bonds by launching a flexible recurring giving program. By segmenting its audience with custom data fields, they successfully engaged supporters at all levels—from $5 to $250 monthly—and achieved sustainable growth that will help support widows as they move forward with their lives.

At CP, which offers innovative therapy and life skills services, tailored to individuals with physical, cognitive, developmental, and sensory conditions, Director of Development and Marketing Maddy Szymanski transformed its fundraising strategy by rebuilding the organization’s donor data structure in Neon CRM. By cleaning thousands of records and creating custom segmentation lists and real-time reporting dashboards, she gave her team the ability to target the right donors with the right messages and quickly see what was working. As a result, they exceeded every major appeal goal last year—including an 86% increase in revenue from their summer appeal.

“[Jamie] took charge of every aspect of the event—from soliciting gift baskets and managing marketing and advertising, to serving as the cashier on the night of the fundraiser. Thanks to her deft skill with [Neon One] and her broad marketing expertise, the event came together seamlessly. Quite simply, we could not have done it without her.”

The Brother Benno Foundation

The Brother Benno Foundation used targeted Neon CRM reports to take its annual thank-a-thon to the next level. The director of development used data on donors’ restricted gifts and volunteer history to create highly personalized thank-you lists for each staff member. This made it possible for Recovery Director Jim Shlemmer to personally connect with supporters of the program he leads. The result was more grateful donors and a deepened culture of gratitude across the entire team.

You found new ways to manage volunteers, support your members, create compelling communications, and lead impactful events. You didn’t just simplify operations, you created vibrant community experiences.

LOSS Community Services, which provides bereavement care and support to families who’ve lost a loved one to suicide, needed to make its intake process feel more human. Development Coordinator Myrriah made it happen by using Neon CRM’s email automation to send a welcome email with condolences to every new individual that registered for an event. This powerful automation “humanized the process” and made sure people felt supported from the very first click.

Impact San Antonio transitioned its giving circle to Neon CRM, and volunteer Jennifer Bligh managed to do it all while maintaining an 80%+ member retention rate. Jen quickly mastered the platform’s reporting capabilities and created personalized outreach—from emails to thank-you cards—that made sure all members felt individually recognized.

Binghamton Philharmonic used the Arts People and Neon CRM integration to get a 360-degree view of its patrons. That view helps them turn ticket buyers into long-term donors and supporters.

“This is really cool because now we have Arts People connecting to Neon CRM. When I open up a patron record in Neon CRM, I can see that they’re donors and ticket buyers… It’s so great to see how that data is interacting.”

“With switching to Neon One we were able to add a members-only site, which has been really helpful. We take past resources, like webinars, and put them on our members-only page so members can go back and use the resource even if they couldn’t attend. It’s really a way for us to continue educating about our mission.”

Executive Assistant,
Wisconsin Association for the Talented and Gifted

Alzheimer’s San Diego was struggling to track client usage across various services for grant reporting. To solve this problem, Senior Manager of Data Operations Caitlin Wion partnered with every program department to build custom tracking in Neon CRM. Now, its grants team can clearly illustrate the number of unique clients and all of their program interactions, which funders say is important to understand the full impact of its programs.

The Torch Foundation

At The Torch Foundation, Program Coordinator Mike Satow took on the challenge of streamlining its volunteer and registration systems. Those processes were bogged down by manual work that took up tons of staff time. By working with Neon CRM to automate these processes, Mike saved the team at least 10 extra hours a week. That’s more time they could dedicate to developing programming for the communities they serve.

Time is your most valuable resource. This year, you simplified your operations by automating the repetitive tasks like event reminders, welcome emails, and renewal prompts and freed up time to focus on the work that matters most.

At this year’s Generosity Xchange, Development Director Scott Anderson shared how RedLine Contemporary Art Center automated nearly 90% of its membership program with workflows. The automated four-part renewal series alone led to a 21% increase in budgeted membership revenue and freed up staff time for more personal engagement.

The San Juan Preservation Trust streamlined its visitor process when Philanthropy Membership Manager Olivia Walcott Gonda implemented an automated visitor registration workflow. By capturing visitor data directly in Neon CRM, the Preservation Trust eliminated manual data entry, saved staff time, and instantly enabled tailored follow-up communications that build stronger ties with conservation enthusiasts.

For Decatur Makers, a simple Neon CRM form for a new LEGO Robotics League did more than just manage signups. The new process inspired the entire team to rethink their communications system; they came up with different ideas that save hours of work each month by centralizing their outreach in Neon CRM.

San Bernardino Symphony Orchestra’s Manager of Operations and Patron Services, Marisol Sandoval, used Arts People’s automated emails to manage post-concert feedback surveys. She eliminated the manual effort of preparing patron lists and freed her team to focus on audience engagement.

“This moment of inspiration from my colleague not only solved a duplication issue that carried over from our old systems but also gave me the motivation to explore how we can better utilize Neon One to streamline our communications and eliminate an extra monthly expense.”

After 20 years with the same donor database, Cultural Survival knew it was time for a change. Development Coordinator Miranda Vitello led the charge, facing the massive task of migrating 50 years of donor data. She worked with the Neon One team to ensure the entire process was smooth. The result? The whole organization can now access donor data easily, which improves everyone’s efficiency and collaboration.

Integrated technology is only as powerful as the connections it enables. This year, you made big moves—migrating decades of data, connecting remote teams, and leaning on our experts—all to build the personal connections that drive your mission forward.

Plus, with clean and accurate data, we’re able to better communicate with and serve our members and promote our mission.”

“We really see Neon One as a partner. They play a role on our staff that otherwise a body, or multiple bodies, would normally fill. We contract out a lot of our administrative services, and Neon One has been a great partner from the

Runnin’ Free Ranch’s founder, Amy Dojahn, led a successful transition from separate clunky systems to Neon One. Amy’s mastery of Neon CRM and Neon Websites meant her team could generate donor impact reports in minutes instead of days.
